Native speaking Nanny

A native-speaking nanny is a highly skilled childcare professional fluent in a specific language, such as English, French, Spanish, Italian, or Chinese. These nannies provide exceptional care while offering a bilingual education by immersing your children in a new language. Through daily interactions and activities, your children can learn a new language naturally, fostering both linguistic skills and cultural understanding in a supportive and nurturing environment.

What are the Responsibilities of a Native Speaking Nanny?

A native-speaking nanny’s responsibilities are clearly defined and agreed upon in the Employment Agreement before she begins her role. The nanny works closely with parents to coordinate all activities and care.

Her primary duties include monitoring the child’s daily routine and nutrition, ensuring a balanced schedule that promotes healthy growth. She also conducts general developmental activities in a playful and engaging manner, encouraging natural language acquisition through fun and interactive experiences.

While the nanny provides comprehensive care, her role does not typically include intensive tutoring for school subjects. For families needing focused academic support, we recommend hiring a governess or tutor.

Housework for a native-speaking nanny is limited strictly to child-related tasks. These include feeding the children, taking them for walks, putting them to bed, and preparing simple, nutritious meals for them. Additionally, by mutual agreement, the nanny may accompany the child on family holidays, ensuring consistent care and comfort.

Approximate salary

The salary of a native-speaking nanny depends on several factors, including: the number of children being cared for, the length of the working day, and the nanny’s level of training and experience.

Highly experienced nannies with specialized skills or bilingual abilities may command higher rates.
