Key Responsibilities
• Deliver structured, individual A-Level tutoring sessions tailored to the student’s needs
• Evaluate the student’s current attainment level and identify knowledge gaps
• Design a personalised study programme aligned with the relevant A-Level exam board specifications
• Provide intensive exam preparation, including past paper analysis, essay structuring (where relevant), and advanced problem-solving techniques
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to parents Ideal
Candidate
• In-depth knowledge of the A-Level curriculum and exam board requirements
• Proven experience tutoring students aged 16–18
• Strong understanding of A-Level assessment objectives, grading criteria, and exam technique
• Patient, motivating, and capable of building academic confidence
• Able to deliver high-quality sessions in person at a school or office location
Schedule & Compensation
Session frequency and scheduling are flexible and will be agreed in line with availability and the student’s academic requirements.
The hourly rate is negotiable within the £50–£70 range, depending on qualifications and experience.
