Full-Time Job! Spanish Governess or Governor in Serbia, Belgrade

A high-profile international family based in Belgrade is seeking a warm, experienced, and highly qualified Native Spanish-speaking Governess or Governor to join their household. The family has two boys, aged 10 and 6 who attend the American school. They are just beginning their journey with Spanish, and the family’s goal is to immerse them in a fun, natural, and structured bilingual environment. This is a premium household with full-time staff, including a Filipino nanny, a cleaner, and a driver. Knowledge of conversational English language is required to communicate with the parents. The focus will be entirely educational and child-related — no caring duties are required. Duties will include introducing and immersing the children in the Spanish language through daily conversation, games, reading, and structured learning. Supporting the boys with their academic and emotional development through engaging, age-appropriate educational activities. The ideal candidate is a Native Spanish-speaking person, an experienced and qualified educator with several years of relevant experience and good checkable references.  The schedule is 6/1. The working hours are flexible, typically not exceeding 45 hours per week. The children are at school until 3:00 PM and have various extracurricular activities during the day so on some days the governess will only work a few hours a day. The family’s schedule may vary, and the governess will have occasional evening shifts when the parents go out. The family also do not usually take the governess with them for travel and those days will be free and paid. The exact schedule will be outlined in the employment contract. The salary on offer is from 1000 Euros per week depending on qualifications and experience. 4 weeks paid holidays per year. A separate apartment is provided. This is a long-term contract, interviews and trials ASAP! Start in September.
